Mariners Lock Up Wilson with 2-year Deal
Hey fans!
Friday was the day that the Mariners signed Jack Wilson to a two year deal.
Wilson will turn 32 on December 29th, but is still one of the best defensive shortstops in the game today, if not the best.
“When we acquired Jack Wilson we envisioned him being a key part of our ballclub over the next few year, today that has come to fruition,” Mariners general manager Jack Zduriencik commented. “We look forward to Jack’s contributions and are excited that he will be a part of the ballclub as we move forward.”
Look for Wilson to play between 150-162 games in 2010.
